“It always seems impossible until it is done” Mine and most Crossfitters feeling about Crossfit workouts before we take them on. But that challenge physically and mentally is why I have clung to Crossfit for the last 5 years. Coming from a mildly active background of soccer here and there and roller derby for several years in Chicago I never imagined I would like putting myself through these grueling workouts, but I appreciate the challenge everyday.
After a 90 lb weight loss I had discovered a new passion for health and fitness. Following 15 years of doing hair I decided to get my personal training certification and Crossfit Level 1 certification . Coaching has been such a positive addition to my life. I love to see athletes gain confidence and work hard. I recently relocated from Detroit with my husband and two fur babies, first things first find a box. After my amazing coaches and community at my box in the “D” I knew I could count on CF gyms to be my way to meet great people. I had the pleasure of coaching and training with awesome friends at another gym here for the last year and a half. However it was time for a change and being a block from South City CF made that change and attending 6am class possible. Look forward to sweating and high-fiving our calloused hands in the gym together.

Least: anything with muscle ups – my nemesis of 5 long years
